You'll find mostly fantasy books but I dabble around in other generas. Most of my books come from the Library bc it's free!
*This list will also include audiobooks and may contain SPOILERS!
Fun and magical series with a somehow nostalgic art style that sweeps me up everytime. Walked into it thinking it would stay fairly light hearted and sweet but that was all a LIE! Love love love how you enter the world just like Coco, full of wonder and joy, but as the real world slowly seeps in so does the dark. But Coco and her friends have yet to lose all hope! I hope they manage to overcome the world that the adults before them built and create something true to themselves alone the way. Great book for all ages. Has some darker moments but nothing soul defeating. Has a great balance of whimsy and serious moments. And I like that care is given by the adults incharge of the girls when teaching and letting them grow. I selfishly want a whole book series on all the flora and fauna of the world pls

A very emotional volume. Qifrey might be the only adult i trust to not dismiss Coco but I just can't tell what he's up to. Seeing Luluci put down her ribbon staff gave me some hope that maybe she wouldn't push Custas over the edge but man all the adults in this manga make me want to strangle them. I love it! Lord Beldaruit's sudden betrayal! Why did he smash the mirror way??? I have a fear that the invention he made with the inspiration from Coco will be used pooly(by the knights moralis judgment at least). Something about the first scene he and his son were shown, by an operation table, just makes me shudder.
An assortment of fairytales and stories. I think it was a nice chnage of pace to read something as odd as a fairytale I've never read before. The fairies were strange and both troublesome and helpful to the human lives they touched. The humans were classic troups and funny in a way. Each story is self contained with only one character(the Raven King) reacurring in a few tales. He only appears in the final tale and honestly wasn't much of a King haha. A nice touch for each story was the beautiful full page images inside each chapter. Even the start of chapter pages have charming characters to set the mood! Charles Vess was the illustrator. Worth a casual read on a slow rainy day.
Even though I've watched the anime, seeing the story unfold on the page has it's own magic. The orginal art is very soft and round! I think it makes the action scenes and sudden horro moments pretty effective. It also helps the silly moments inbetween give life to the characters. Moments in the background of different characters reacting or interacting with each other are what I love most. Senshi has really captured my heart. Him and Laios are the stars of the show.
